Map the work before the platform
Describe the communication, document, customer, reporting and operational tasks that need to work better. This creates a stable basis for comparing platforms without starting from a brand assumption.
Identify users and access
Count active users, shared devices, external collaborators and administrators. Define joiner, mover and leaver processes before licences begin accumulating without clear ownership.
Connect security and backup
Clarify authentication, device protection, data retention and backup responsibilities. Cloud availability does not automatically mean that every recovery requirement is covered.
Plan adoption and renewal
Record term length, renewal date, price basis, usage review and the owner of the renewal decision. Adoption and renewal visibility should be part of the original requirement.
